Journey to the Middle East Pt 1

Safe and sound, my favourite song and current situation.

I am in Abu Dhabi, sitting in bed at 10.05 pm, feeling like it's 2.05am with around 3 hours sleep in the last 30 hours.

Heres whats happened so far.

The two sweet girls I've embarked upon this journey with are awesomely fun and spontaneous, which means we each have so far had our individual blonde moments.

Blonde moment one (mine)
"I have no idea how much these notes are each worth", (on my behalf it was 11.55pm before boarding the plane)
"Ahh turn them over, there you go, numbers on one side, arabic on the other,"

Blonde moment two (Mila):
Back info required to understand the joke, when leaving Australia you need to fill out a small form saying where you are going etc.

"Where's your destination?" Immigration lady.
"Indonesia"
"Where are you flying to?"
"Abu Dhabi U.A.E"....."Ohhhhhh"

Not your nationality.....

Blonde moment three (Jessica):
Background info: we had quite openly and loudly been mocking a shop in duty free that sold abolone. Who takes an esky full of abalone on a 6 hours plane trip?

Answer the Asian tourist in front of us.

This all before we left Perth international.

We then flew to singapore, enjoying loud headphones and snoring passengers,a nd dodgy dodgy food.
Maccas for breakfast in Singapore as we had a 6 hour stop over, then onto the 8 hour flight to Abu dhabi. This was not very eventful.

So now here I am just back from having the yummiest shepherd pie that could fed an army! Watching the formula 1's practice and about to nod off.
